Today I tried to sleep in, but nope, my body wasn't having it. I went to bed at past midnight and was up right at 5am. It gets so hot in the morning that after 8 i dont think you could sleep in bed anyway hah.
Today we just chilled. I shaved for the first time in a week (I couldn't take it anymore). We did some more areal shots (see below) and also went downtown. It was so windy today! all over the island. white caps in all of the lagoons. we took the east side of the island to get to Papeete (downtown). Mat had to drop off some stuff and then we met a famous photographer at a hotel (that had 5 types of plumerias. I wanted to take a branch from each one) who sold mat some gear.
We then went to OGs house, but it turns out that he's in LA skydiving right now. Hopefully he is around later on in my trip so we can all chill.
After that we headed back to Mats place. and then we just hung out in the backyard. I love how the kitchen table is in the backyard on the covered deck. right now the rain came back. it is so nice, the air is warm and so is the rain. you don't dread rain here like you do in california where the rain is always so cold.
I stayed out of the water today for the most part. I need to let me reef cuts heal up a little bit. I keep getting back into water and they are not healing.. haha.
anyway, time to sleep!
